SDK Documentation
Zscaler provides a comprehensive set of official Software Development Kits (SDKs) to help automation engineers and developers manage and operate Zscaler products programmatically. Zscaler SDKs expose a unified, language-native interface to OneAPI, using a single authenticated session across Zscaler product APIs, with built‑in support for pagination, retries, error handling, and structured logging.
Supported Products
The Zscaler Python SDK supports the following products:
- ZID - Authentication Service
- ZTW - Cloud & Branch Connector
- ZCC - Zscaler Client Connector
- ZDX - Zscaler Digital Experience
- ZIA - Zscaler Internet Access
- ZPA - Zscaler Private Access
SDK Versions
Zscaler offers two generations of SDKs:
- Existing V1 SDKs for Python, Go, Terraform, Ansible, and more available through the official Zscaler GitHub repositories.
- Zscaler's next generation of V2 SDKs are available exclusively through Automation Hub.
Python SDK
The Zscaler Python SDK makes it easier to automate common administrative tasks by providing Python APIs for working with Zscaler products. The Python SDK does not yet support all Zscaler products. It requires Python 3.10 or later. To learn more, see Getting Started with the Zscaler Python SDK.
