Example request to Unified RBAC API

The following examples show how to make requests to the Unified Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) API endpoints using Zscaler's Postman Collection.

Query Roles​

The following example shows how to query roles using POST /v1/roles/query:

  1. In the workspace where you added your collection, go to Collections.

  2. Click the OneAPI folder and then click Unified RBAC > Roles.

  3. Go to Query roles with pagination and filters.

    The POST v1/roles/query request appears on the right-side pane.

  4. Update the request body with valid query parameters, such as limit and offset.

  5. Click Send.

When the request is successful, you receive a Status 200 OK message and a response body.

Query Audit Logs​

The following example shows how to query audit logs using POST /v1/auditlog/query:

  1. In the workspace where you added your collection, go to Collections.

  2. Click the OneAPI folder and then click Unified RBAC > Audit Logs.

  3. Go to Query audit logs.

    The POST v1/auditlog/query request appears on the right-side pane.

  4. Update the request body with valid query parameters, such as limit, offset, filters, and sort.

  5. Click Send.

When the request is successful, you receive a Status 200 OK message and a response body.
